I had enough of making winter stuff, so this weekend i spend my time to play around with my ne set of rustpaste from finnabair
I used stencil and modeling paste for the backround, added some embellishments (chipboardpieces, metal pieces and art stones) with gel medium and covered everything with black gesso. Then i used some magicals from lindys to color it,here i used 'steampunk sepia' 'shabby turbine teal' and 'rusty lantern lime'. for more metallic look i added finnabair metallique wax 'bronze age'. Then it was time for the rustpaste, here i used the red rust and gold rust. At the end i decided to add some golden mika flakes from 13@rts. Thanks for watching, i hope you like it

steampunk style with texture

hi dears, i'm back with a new creation. This time i wanted to make a steampunk canvas, but i wanted to make something with lots of texture again,as well. So, why not combine both? So i started with applying a thick layer of crackle paste by  finnabair   and let it dry natural for a fiew hours. Then i built the composition with chipboard pieces, metal embellishments, dried roots and this cute face- this is made from paper clay by using a silicon mould. I played with different colors, first lindys magicals for the backround (steampunk sepia and shabby turbine teal) then i added finnabairs artalchemy paint 'mermaid teal' and 'emerald green' deluted with water and off course 'steampunk copper' should not be missing for this project.  to give it more texture i applied rustpaste (again finnabair) and some colored mica flakes and xs micropheres in old gold from 13@rts. dreamcatcher mixed media canvas

I saw so many beautiful projects with dreamcatcher in the last time, so i wanted to create one as well. I prepared the surface with black gesso and applied paste mixed with sand and 3d powder for a nice texture. Then i started building the composition with beautiful chipboards from snipart, flowers and many other embellishments,which i covered before with black gesso.  I used Lindy's 'sweet purple violet teal' as my backround color and then i played with some finnabair paints and waxes.  Products i used Amsterdam black gesso Renesans mica paste Pentart 3d powder Snipart chipboards 13 arts paper flowers Retrokraftshop metalembellishments finnabair mechanicals Lindystampgang 'Sweet violet purple teal' Finnabair 'plum preserve' metallique paint Finnabair 'unicorns hair' sparks paint Finnabair 'white gold' metallique wax Finnabair 'Vintage silk' opal magic wax

Finnabair inspired mixed media canvas

I'm a huge fan of Finnabair and i love her mixed media collages, and it was time to give this a try. I printed a picture of me on photo paper and glued it with gel medium on a canvas in size of 18x24cm. As the first step i used fixative spray to protect the picture and black gesso to prepare the rest of the canvas. Then i started to build my composition with metal embellishments, chipboardpieces and other small embellishments. After i glued all pieces with gel medium, i covered them with black gesso. As last step i added some artalchemy paints and white gesso to hightlight everything. products i used: Amsterdam black gesso Amsterdam extra heavy gel medium metal embellishments from Retrokraftshop chipboards from Snipart Finnabair artalchemy paints: 'deep water', 'opal magic pink blue', 'opal magic aqua rose' 'white pearl' Amsterdam white gesso
